Growing Yard & Garden

Garden is looking pretty good, trying to keep everything watered enough. Not as easy as Boise to grow stuff veggies. We get direct sun for about 6 hours on the garden, then the apple tree blocks the sun for the rest of the day. We will be cutting the apple tree next this winter. My dad built a beautiful trellis for the beans and we have a fence around the garden now to keep the dogs/Josie among other creatures/deer out.

Raspberries are doing great too! Trying to keep up on picking them.
This area is a large improvement from last summer. We are still battling the plastic underneath the bark, but it's getting better. The Hoy's have given us lots of hostas and we now have a corner fill with hydrangeas. The plan for next summer is to plant more grass and move some of the hostas to create a path to the hammock.
The rock stairs on the bottom of this photo is how I broke my finger last summer:) The dogs are now free to roam the back yard because it's 95% fenced. Yay!!!! Can you find Josie?
